GESI INFORHUB

Talofa!  Welcome to the Gender Equality and Social Inclusion Information Hub of the Government of Tuvalu!

The Gender Affairs Departments (GAD) launched the Gender Equality and Social Inclusion Information Hub (GESI InfoHub) to make available the information and tools for supporting the integration of gender equity, disability inclusion, and youth development perspective across development initiatives and public programs and services in Tuvalu.   

The purpose of the GESI InfoHub is to disseminate information and tools on gender equality, disability inclusion and youth development in Tuvalu so that information is available and accessible to raise awareness, inform the development of policies and programmes, and monitor progress in those critical areas for Tuvalu development and to ensure that no one is left behind.

The GESI InfoHub collects, store and disseminate:

1. GESI-related data from national and sectoral surveys
2. GESI-related analysis, assessments, studies made in/about Tuvalu
3. GESI-related national policies and regional and international strategies and frameworks to which Tuvalu has committed to
4. Tuvalu GESI-related reports
5. GESI-related tools and guidelines.

The GESI InfoHub is for: 

• the government
• the local governments
• the civil society organisations and non-governmental organisations
• and the development partners.

The content for the GESI InfoHub will be regularly updated.  Our partners are invited to provide the Gender Affairs Department with any relevant document that could be uploaded in the virtual library.
